I recently got a breast reduction done by Dr. Schaffer and I am so happy with the results! I had been considering this procedure for about 8 years due to constant back pain but was very nervous about getting surgery and about the potential results. I decided it was finally time as I had been really struggling the past year with working full days with back pain after finishing grad school. The office is beautiful and everyone there is very kind, helpful, and accommodating. Dr. Schaffer answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable about the procedure. His expertise and sweet staff made me feel like I was truly in good hands. I just had my one month follow up appointment yesterday and I am so happy with the results thus far! They look amazing and the scars are minimal even at this stage in my recovery (which I did not expect)! I haven’t had any major back/shoulder pain since the day before my surgery (even with wearing a compression bra 24/7), which is saying a lot as I would have back and shoulder pain after wearing a bra for only a few hours. Dr. Schaffer and his staff are amazing! They are professional, friendly, accommodating, and they make you feel very comfortable. I am beyond pleased with my results. I went in complaining of back pain. neck pain, shoulder pain, and heat rash. I was always very self conscience of my breast size. I got a rhinoplasty with Dr. Schaffer, and I am absolutely in love with my results. I was very uncomfortable with my appearance, especially my side profile, but by the end of my consultation I felt comfortable with Dr. Schaffer being the one to fix that. Both he and his staff were so incredible and some of the nicest people, even at 7 in the morning. He took the time to walk through my questions and answered each one with detail. Dr. Schaffer performed a breast implant explant and total capsulectomy on me. Before choosing Dr. Schaffer, I did a lot of research on plastic surgeons who perform these explants. He is one of the recommended doctors who perform explants on the BII page and had very high reviews by his patients. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Schaffer and his staff. Everybody is so friendly and easy to talk to. They put me at ease when I was very nervous about having the surgery. Dr. Schaffer did an excellent job performing my surgery! I have wonderful results! I am so happy that I chose him as my surgeon and would send anybody that wanted cosmetic surgery done to him. I have looked at his work-not only explants-but everything else too. I was always skeptical about having body procedures performed, but once I tried to loose my belly fat and wasn't having any success. After several consultations with different doctors, we returned to the first consult - Dr. Schaffer. He makes you feel at ease and not embarrassed at all during a consultation. He listens to you and strives to make you happy with your self image. However, he also provides objective feedback that you may or may not have considered before. The STAFF are ALL AMAZING and make you feel like family from the first visit to post-op. The office atmosphere is serene and calming. Pre-op was a breeze. Post-op proved quite successful with no complications. When I'd call the office because of my own paranoia associated with recovery, the staff was consistently calming and helpful. My daughter bounced back through recovery like a champ. Her confidence level is "off the chain". It's now been almost two years and the scars are only visible IF you're aware of the surgery. Dr. Schaffer did a wonderful job removing my 14 year old saline implants with local only. His assistants put me at ease and took care of me throughout the entire procedure. I am pleased with the results and glad I opted for local only. I did not have breast implant illness. I opted to keep my capsule tissue in place after removal. I did not require a lift. I am 3 weeks post-op and wanted to recommend this procedure to others who want a quick recovery.

After two children, I decided it was time to make some adjustments to my 'sad' situation. I visited a total of 4 surgeons (Houston, TX; Lafayette, LA; Atlanta; and another in Birmingham) before I found Dr. Schaffer. I thoroughly enjoyed both the experiences with his staff and him. Dr. Schaffer did a breast augmentation and abdominoplasty almost 17 years ago on me at Kirkland clinic. I just turned 51 and I am still as happy now as I was then. It says a lot for someone's work when you still feel great with it after all of these years!

I am 2 1/2 months post breast reduction surgery. I had a very specific size in mind prior to my consultation. Dr. Schaffer was upfront and honest with me from day one. He let me know what he was able to do without jeopardizing my health. He is very personable and professional. For this, I'm thankful. There is no callback or wait from the nurses who are very knowledgeable; you speak to someone as soon as you call. The receptionist and insurance/billing staff are kind as well. I had been wanting breast enhancement surgery for quite a while, went to lots of surgeons in the Tampa Bay area to try and find that one special dr. I currently live in GA, and wanted to have my "mommy makeover". I was going to go to Dr. Diaco until I came on this website and saw that someone else was going to go to him, and ended up going to Dr.Schaffer. So I researched him, went to a consultation, and went with the best doctor there is for ANY SURGERY, Dr.Schaffer! He was so nice, and so concerned about what you wanted to be done, and made sure that all of your questions were answered. His staff was amazing, and the whole experience really just changed my life. Since I live in GA, I traveled down to Tampa, FL where he worked with me on appts. and arranged the surgery and everything so I wasn't making 5,000 trips! The day after my surgery, I had an appt with him first thing in the AM. The girl that was with me to drive me there, was not familiar with Tampa and had never been there. So Dr.Schaffer, on his own, went out of his way, and came to my hotel room!! It helped me and the girl with me out sooo much, words could not explain. He always followed up with me on the phone and made sure I knew all the directions on how to care for my wounds and etc. I really owe it to him, he has changed my life, and my results are amazing!! My stomach is flatter now than what it was before kids, and my breasts look so real, and amazing. If you are tossing up between doctors, or worried about prices, please trust me and at least have a consultation with him!! Once you do that, you'll know he is the one!! He is awesome, and nobody out there can beat him! That's a promise!

I am very pleased with the results, recovery, care & concern from the staff. The facelift & fat transfer to the areas around my mouth and nasal area using my own tissues gave me a smooth and natural look. Botox was used for the crow’s feet & a small amount in the chin relaxed the crinkles. After about a week most of the swelling was gone & bruising was easily covered with concealer. The incisions around my ears are not easily seen even when I pull my hair back. The staff recommended the 2 herbal supplements Arnica & Bromelain to help reduce redness, bruising & swelling. Also sleeping with my head elevated the 1st week helped a lot. I look very natural, just much better. I definitely would recommend Dr. Schaffer to anyone who wants to improve their appearance without looking “too done”. He did a great job & also has a good bedside manner.

I went to Dr. Schaffer for my initial consultation for breast augmentation. Because of pregnancies, breastfeeding, and age, my breast were deflated and saggy. Dr. Schaffer told me because of the slight sagging, I possibly may not be completely happy with just the aug because my nipples would not be centered causing my breast to be large- but not look their best. I asked for his thoughts on incisions and procedures. Dr. Schaffer gave me great options. I was also a little uncertain of my size and saline vs silicone. Dr. Schaffer told me I would enjoy the silicone better because my breasts were very small and not much tissue to work with. I would feel the saline implants and possibly have rippling. I loved the fact that Dr. Schaffer NEVER made me feel rushed, answered all my questions (I had a huge list) gave me honest answers, not just ones I wanted to hear, gave great options and was able to guide me on my decision to have the best results. I had a periareolar lift and breast augmentation. Went from a deflated 34A to a perky 34DD. The day of surgery, my wait was long, but I had my iPad and a book. Phillip (anesthesia), Blake (scrub tech) Tara (anesthesia) and my nurse were all great! They really made me feel comfortable and were informative- super great team! After surgery I did not have hardly really any pain, I felt tight ( like breast feeding engorgement) and tightness between my shoulders. I took the pain medication and muscle relaxer as directed- it took care of any discomfort. I actually only took my pain meds for 2 days then switched to extra strength Tylenol. I did take the muscle relaxer at bedtime for 8 days post-op. I had minimal swelling for the first week and a tiny amount of bruising just under my breast. My silicone implants are 500cc mentor moderate-high profile. My nipples are perky and beautifully centered. My implants feel like natural breasts. I just had my first injectable filler treatment in my lips by Dr. Schaffer at Hedden Plastic Surgery! I was really nervous about getting the injections in my lips because I didn't want them to look unnatural and huge and change the look of them completely. I just wanted to fill in the lines and make them look pouty and full. Dr. Schaffer is an amazing listener and took all of my concerns into consideration and put my mind at ease. I am so happy with my results and would absolutely recommend him to anyone!!!

Recently underwent breast augmentation and could not have asked for a better experience! Staff was great, easy to call and talk with a staff member or nurse. Dr. Schaffer was very easy to talk to and took his time to make sure all questions and concerns were answered. For the surgery itself, perfect job! My breasts look JUST like they did before only BIGGER! I was very skeptical about them being uneven or far apart cleavage but everything turned out perfect! Dr. Schaffer and his whole team were amazing. On March 25, 2017, I had a full tummy tuck-lipo and breast lift at the same time and all three were pretty much a breeze, I kept waiting on the pain. The whole experience was awesome. My family and I can't believe how quickly I recovered. I feel so comfortable with the whole team and Dr. Schaffer is such a pleasant and friendly person. Best experience ever. I had my breast reduction and lift on May 12th and I must say I am very excited about the results. I was a 38G before and now a 38C. I have always been embarrassed about my breast hanging down my belly for lack of better words. I am now a perky C and can actually go without a bra! I live out of town from the clinic but everyone there made it as easy and comfortable as possible for me and my care team. Now let\'s talk about Dr Schaffer! Amazing is how I describe him. He is patient, caring and very informative. He takes time with his patients and listens to all concerns and tries to address all of them. You will not find a better Dr, staff and team than his. Oh, and you can\'t drive to Birmingham for your consultation and follow up appts, dont worry you can see him and his team in Auburn. I can not say enough positive things about Dr Schaffer but I promise you, see him for yourself and you will not be disappointed!! And he has pretty good taste in music!!
